(1)The administration of Police shall vest with the Director General of Police and with such Additional Directors General of Police, Inspectors General of Police, Deputy Inspectors General of Police and such other Police Officers, as may be appointed under this Act, under the overall superintendence and control of the State Government.(2)The administration of police in a district shall vest with the Senior Superintendent of Police.
