34. Purchases through subordinates.
- No Government servant shall himself ask for permit his wife, or any member of his family living with him, to ask any Government servant who is subordinate to him makes purchases, locally or from outstation, on behalf of him, his wife or other member of his family, whether on advance payment or otherwise :IllustrationA is a Deputy Collector.B is a Subordinate Officer under A.A should not allow his wife to ask B to have cloth purchased for her.
