Section 9(2) in Swarnim Gujarat Sports University Act, 2011
(2)The person to be appointed as the Vice-Chancellor shall,-(i)be a renowned physical educationist and sports person; or(ii)be a researcher having out-standing published research work in reputed National or International Journals and have obtained the doctorate degree in the field of Physical Education, or(iii)be eminent educationalist or a person with vast experience in administration; and(iv)not have attained the age of sixty-five years on the date of nomination.
