Section 8 in The Public Records Rules, 1997

8. Submission of Annual Report

.-(1) The Records Officer nominated under rule 3 furnish to the Director General or Head of the Archives, as the case may be, an Annual Report in Form 5 every year in the month of March of the following year.
(2)The Director General or Head of the Archives, as the case may be, shall, thereafter, submit a report to the Government in the Ministry of Human Resource Development every year on the action taken by the Records Officer in pursuance to the provisions of clauses (a) to (l) of sub-section (1) of section 6 of the Act.
