1. Short title, extent and commencement.
- [(1) This Act may be called the Tamil Nadu Exhibition of Films on Television Screen through Video Cassette Recorders and Cable Television Network (Regulation) Act, 1984.] [Substituted by the Tamil Nadu Exhibition of Films on Television Screen through Video Cassette Recorders (Regulation) Amendment Act, 1991 (Tamil Nadu Act 44 of 1991).](2)It extends to the whole of the State of Tamil Nadu.(3)It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 14th January 1984.
