Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the respondent-University.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has retired on 31st January 2006 and since then on account of revision of pay scale, a huge amount to the tune of Rs. 16 lacs and odd have still remained to be paid by the University as detailed in Annexure-2 and 3 of the writ application.

Learned counsel for the respondent-

University submits that in case petitioner files a fresh representation giving all the relevant details with regard to the aforesaid grievance, the same shall be considered without delay.

In the above circumstances, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for expeditious disposal of his claim the petitioner proposes to file a distinct representation before the respondent no. 4 enclosing the copy of the relevant documents if any, in support of his claim alongwith the certified copy of the present order within a period of four weeks from today. In case such representation is filed, respondent no. 4 shall consider the same and dispose it of by reasoned order expeditiously, preferably within a period of four months on receipt of such representation so that the grievances of the petitioner with regard to the payment retiral dues could be redressed without delay.

The writ application is disposed of with the above observations/directions.
