Section 18(1) in The Securities and Exchange Board of India (Issue and Listing of Securitised Debt Instruments and Security Receipts) Regulations, 2008
(1)A special purpose distinct entity shall maintain or cause to be maintained other records and documents, including a register of holders of securitised debt instruments, for each scheme so as to explain its transactions and its accounts :Provided that the register of beneficial owners maintained by a depository in respect of securitised debt instruments held in dematerialised form with it shall be deemed to be a register of holders of securitised debt instruments for the purposes of these regulations.
