Section 5(c) in The First Statutes of the Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development, 2013
(c)to establish new divisions, centres and departments as deemed necessary for the effective functioning of the institute and re-name existing divisions, centres and departments for its effective performance, with the prior approval of the Central Government.
