Section 11 in The Karnataka General Clauses Act, 1899
11. Measurement of distances.
- In the measurement of any distance, for the purposes of [any Mysore Act or Karnataka Act] [Adapted by the Karnataka Adaptation of Laws Order, 1973 w.e.f. 1.11.1973] made after the commencement of this Act, that distance shall, unless a different intention appears, be measured in a straight line on a horizontal plane.
