18. Meetings of the Academic Council.
(1)The Academic Council shall meet at least once in six months on dates to be fixed by the Vice-Chancellor.(2)One-fourth of the total number of members of the Academic Council shall constitute the quorum for a meeting.(3)[ The Vice-Chancellor or, in his absence, the Pro-Vice-Chancellor or, in the absence of both, a member chosen by the members present from among themselves shall preside over a meeting of the Academic Council.] [Substituted by Act No. 7 of 2009.]
