Section 2(10)(p) in The U.P. Co-operative Societies Act, 1965

(p)"Ordinary member" means a member of a co-operative society other than a sympathiser member having a right to vote in the affairs of the society in accordance with the provisions of this Act, the rules and the bye-laws;
