Section 2(1)(iv) in The Madhya Bharat Abolition of Jagirs Act, Samvat 2008

(iv)"homestead" means a dwelling house together with any court-yard, compound, attached garden or hari, and includes any out-building used for agricultural purposes and any tank or well appertaining to the dwelling house;
