Section 18 in The Maharashtra Lifts, Escalators and Moving Walks Act, 2017
18. Maintenance of lift or escalator or moving walk.
- Every owner of a lift or escalator or moving walk shall enter into a contract with the approved contractor, for the satisfactory maintenance, including cleaning, oiling, adjusting and repairing of the lift or escalator or moving walk.
