Section 16(8) in Bihar Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Rules, 2015
(8)The Board, where it releases a juvenile in conflict with law on probation and places him under the care of parent or guardian or fit person or where the juvenile is released on probation and places him under the care of fit institution, may order that the juvenile be placed under the supervision of a probation officer. The period of supervision shall be a maximum of three years.
