Except with the permission of the State Government, no woman [* * ] [Certain words [or child] omitted by Act 17 of 2010 (w.e.f. 18.5.2010) ] worker shall be employed in any plantation otherwise than between the hours of 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.:Provided that nothing in this section shall be deemed to apply to midwives and nurses employed as such in any plantation.
