162A. [ Planting and preservation of avenue trees. [Inserted by the Tamil Nadu Act 23 of 1987.]
- The municipal council shall, at the cost of the municipal fund, cause trees to be planted at all convenient places on the sides of all public streets and make adequate arrangements to preserve such trees.]
