8. Functions of the Board.
- Notwithstanding anything contained in any rule governing the direct recruitment, the recruitment to the post of Subordinate and Ministerial Services as may be specified by the Government from time to time, shall be made by the Board. The Board shall among other things, conduct examinations and/or held interviews, whenever required in the selection process according to the relevant recruitment rules.
