>  Title: The Minister of State in the Ministry of Petroleum & Natual Gas laid a statement regarding satus of implementation of the recommendations contained in the 16thReport of the Standing Committee on Petroleum and Natural Gas on `Supply, Distribution and Marketing of Natural Gas including CNG and LNG’, pertaining to the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gast.

     

पेट्रोलियम और प्राकृतिक गैस मंत्रालय में राज्य मंत्री (श्री दिनशा पटेल):  मान्यवर, मैं पेट्रोलियम और प्राकृतिक गैस मंत्रालय से संबंधित “ सीएनजी और एलएनजी समेत प्राकृतिक गैस की आपूर्ति, वितरण और विपणन”  के बारे में पेट्रोलियम और प्राकृतिक गैस संबंधी स्थायी समिति के 16वें प्रतिवेदन में अंतर्विष्ट सिफारिशों के कार्यान्वयन की स्थिति के बारे में एक वक्तव्य सभा पटल पर रखता हूं।

MR. SPEAKER: Because you wanted to say something, I have called you in deference to you. But that does not mean that he cannot make the Statement. He should make the Statement first.

MR. SPEAKER: They have a right to walk-out. I cannot stop them. That is their democratic right. Mr. Minister, you start it.

SHRI GURUDAS DASGUPTA:  Sir, I am on a point of order. He is supposed to make a Statement. Before he makes the Statement or the Statement is placed on the Table of the House, how is it made available to the Members?… (Interruptions)

SHRI P. CHIDAMBARAM: I do not know.

MR. SPEAKER: As you know, it is available there. He may have got it. So many other members have got it. This is a very common thing here.

MR. SPEAKER: It is an important matter. I take it that the Opposition demanded it. All of you demanded it. When the Government is making a Statement, at least, that should be heard.
