(2)In relation to the application of this Act to any society, if any provision contained in this Act is repugnant to any of the provisions contained in the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act, 1983 (Tamil Nadu Act 30 of 1983) or the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act, 1975 (Tamil Nadu Act 27 of 1975) or the rules made thereunder, the provisions of this Act shall prevail and the provisions of the said Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act or the said Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act or the rules made thereunder shall, to the extent of repugnancy, be of no effect.
