Section 3(2) in C. P. and Berar General Clauses Act, 1914
(2)Unless the contrary is expressed, a [Madhya Pradesh Act] [Substituted for the words 'Provincial Act' by Adaptation Order, 1950.] shall be construed as coming into operation immediately on the expression of the day preceding its commencement.
