- Whoever, without the previous consent of the Court, abets the marriage of any of the persons specified in clauses (a), (b) and (c) of section 23 shall be liable, on conviction before a Court of Session, to a fine not exceeding Rs. 2,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to both.
