Section 22(1) in The Punjab Agricultural University Act, 1961
(1)[Experiment Stations] [Substituted for the word 'Agricultural Experiment Station' by the Punjab Act, 12 of 1965, section 8 sub-section (1) and 2 (i).] shall be established under the University subject to the provisions of this Act and the Statutes which shall have the responsibility for research, both fundamental and applied. Research activities shall be [concentrated as far as possible] [Substituted by Punjab Act 12 of 1965, section 8 (2) (ii).] at the Central Research Stations and other Regional Research and Testing Stations in the different agroclimatic zones of the State.
