Section 392(5) in The Punjab Municipal Corporation Act, 1976
(5)The Government may, nothwithstanding anything contained in the Police Act, 1861, or in any other Act for the time being in force, define, subject to the provisions of this Act the duties which the officers and men of the police establishment may be required to perform.
