Section 72(1) in The Gujarat Industrial Relations Act, 1946
(1)Notwithstanding anything hereinbefore contained the [State] [This word was substituted for the word 'Provincial' by the Aadaptation of Laws order, 1950.] Government may, at any time on the report of the Labour Officer or on its own motion, refer any industrial dispute between employees and employees to the arbitration of a Labour Court or the Industrial Court.
