Section 2(12) in The Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation Act, 1981

(12)"corporation" means the Municipal Corporation of Coimbatore constituted under section 3;(12-A) Inserted by Tamil Nadu Municipal Corporation Laws (Second Amendment) Act, 1991 (Tamil Nadu Act 18 of 1991) and omitted by Tamil Nadu Municipal Corporation Laws (Amendment and Special Provision) Act, 1994 (Tamil Nadu Act 26 of 1994).
