Section 36(1) in The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Rules, 2017
(1)The Chief Commissioner and the Commissioner may, by notice in writing, under his hand, addressed to the Central Government, resign from the office:Provided that he shall continue in the office till his resignation is accepted.
