68. Penalty.
- Except as provided under these rules, any person who in contravention of sub-rule (1) of rule 4, quarries, wins, removes or carries away any minor mineral, in respect of the lands in which the mineral vest with the Government, he shall be punishable with imprisonment for term which may extend to one year or with fine which may extend to rupees five thousand or with both and in case of continuing contravention with an additional fine which may extended to rupees five hundred for every day during which the contravention continues after conviction for the last such contravention.Chapter - VIII Miscellaneous
