Section 108 in The Gujarat Maritime Board Act, 1981
108. Protection of act done in good faith.
- No suit or other legal proceeding shall lie against the Board or any [member or officer] [These words were substituted for the word 'member', by Gujarat 3 of 1996, Section 16 (w.r.e.f. 08-09-1995).] or employee thereof in respect to anything which is in good faith done or intended to be done under this Act or any rule or regulation made thereunder, or for any damage sustained by any vessel in consequence of any defect in any of the mooring, hawsers or other things belonging to or under the control of the Board.
