Section 70 in The Goa, Daman and Diu Irrigation Act, 1973
70. Incidence of obligation.
- The obligation to perform the repairs, specified in section 69 shall, with preference to any land irrigated from the canal, be deemed to impose jointly and severally in the case of unalienated land, on the occupants of the land and in the case of all other land, on the holders of the land, as defined in either case of Goa, Daman and Diu Land Revenue Code, 1968 (9 of 1969).
