Section 13(1) in The West Bengal Primary Education Act, 1973
(1)A member of the Board [, other than the President,] [Words inserted by W.B. Act 10 of 1999.] may resign his office by giving notice in writing to the President and when such resignation is accepted by the Board such member shall be deemed to have vacated his seat.
