Section 11(2) in The Punjab Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizen Rules, 2012
(2)On receipt of an application made under sub-rule(1), the Tribunal shall, if it is prima facie satisfied after hearing the parties the parties about the reasonableness of such application, issue notice to such other the child or relative to show cause why he/they should not be impleaded as a party, and shall, after giving him/them an opportunity of being heard, pass an order regarding their impleadment or otherwise.
