1198. Thumb impressions to be taken on acquittance rolls.
- The left thumb impression of illiterate payees and of officers of whose identity the disbursing officers is not satisfied, e.g., officers on deputation from other districts who are unknown to him, shall be taken against entries in the acquittance roll.
