(2)[ Not withstanding anything contain in sub-rule (1), no educational institution bus or any other transport vehicle being used for the purpose of transporting students shall carry more than one and a half times the number of passengers (including school students) authorized in the registration certificate.Explanation. - For the purposes of sub-rule(2) the expression "transport vehicle" includes all categories of contract carriage and private service vehicles.] [Inserted vide notification no.
