Section 18(1) in The Gujarat Veterinary Practitioners Act, 1969
(1)On the expiry of a period of one year from the date of publication of the notice under sub-section (6) of Section 14 and every five years thereafter, every registered veterinary practitioner shall be liable to apply to the Registrar and to pay to the Council the renewal fee prescribed by regulations for the continuance of his name on the register.
