Section 60 in The Maharashtra Rent Control Act, 1999
60. Removal of difficulty.
- If any difficulty arises in giving effect to the provision of this Act unifying, consolidating and amending the law, relating to the control of rent and eviction and other connected matters in the repealed Acts, and as are contained in this Act, the State Government may, as occasion arises, by order do anything which appears to it to be necessary for the purpose of removing the difficulty:Provided that, no such order shall be made after the expiry of the period of two years from the date of commencement of this Act.
