Section 34(3) in The Agricultural Produce Marketing (Development and Regulation) Act, 2007
(3)On the agricultural produce brought in the market area for commercial transaction or for processing or for export, the market fee shall be deposited by the buyer or processor or exporter, as the case may be, in the office of the Marketing Board, within 14 days from the date of entry of such agricultural produce in the market area or before it's sale or resale or processing or dispatch outside the market area, as the case may be:Provided that in case if any notified agricultural produce is found to have been processed, sold, resold or dispatched outside the market area without payment of market fee payable on such produce, the Marketing Board shall impose penalty on the concerned person which shall be five times of the market fees payable.
