55. Overtime.
- Notwithstanding the fact that the whole time of an employee is at the disposal of the [Board] [Substituted 'Corporation' by Notification No. G.S.R. 481(E), dated 7.7.2021 (w.e.f. 23.7.1960).], the [Board] [Substituted 'Corporation' by Notification No. G.S.R. 481(E), dated 7.7.2021 (w.e.f. 23.7.1960).] may [sanction overtime payments] [Notified in Gazette of India, Part-III Section 4 dated 22.4.1976.] to an employee belonging to Class III or Class IV who is required to work on Sundays or holidays or to put in extra hours on week days in connection with the [Board] [Substituted 'Corporation' by Notification No. G.S.R. 481(E), dated 7.7.2021 (w.e.f. 23.7.1960).]'s work, subject to the provisions of the local enactments.
