CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE AHSANUDDIN AMANULLAH
                            ORAL JUDGMENT

Date: 06-02-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the State. The petitioners are aggrieved by wrong entry in the government record with regard to their land which has been shown to be government land.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that in the survey made in the year 1958 the land belonging to their ancestor was wrongly recorded as government land. It was submitted that since the land was under water, only after it surfaced and the petitioner started farming on that, he became aware that the land has been recorded as government land, for which he had also filed a petition which was not entertained.

Patna High Court CWJC No.12557 of 2014 dt.06-02-2017 2/2 After some arguments, learned counsel submitted that he may be permitted to withdraw the application to move before the appropriate forum in accordance with law for such correction.

Learned counsel for the State does not oppose. In view of the aforesaid, the writ petition stands disposed off as withdrawn with the liberty aforesaid.
