Section 27(4) in The Orissa Grama Panchayats Act, 1964
(4)[ The Election Officers, Presiding Officers and other officers appointed or designated for the time being for the conduct of elections under this Act shall be deemed to be on deputation to the Election Commission for the period commencing on the date of the notification calling for such election and ending with the date of declaration of the results of such election and, accordingly, such officers shall, during that period, be subject to the control, superintendence and discipline of the Election Commission.] [Inserted vide Orissa Gazette Extraordinary No. 1649 dated 7.9.2001.]
