Section 39(7) in Orissa Superior Judicial Service and Orissa Judicial Service Rules, 2007
(7)(i)A Judge or a candidate for judicial office should not be a member of or hold any office in a political party.(ii)A Judge shall not make speeches on behalf of a political party or endorse a candidate for a political office.
