"In the result, the revision application succeeds. The judgment and order of conviction and sentence passed by the learned JMFC, Valbhipur in Criminal Case No.19 of 2002 dated 24/01/2011 convicting and sentencing the petitioners under Section 9 and 49(b)(5) read with Section 51 of the Wile Life (Protection) Act, 1972 and as confirmed by the learned Sessions Judge, Bhavnagar in Criminal Appeal No.7 of 2011 dated 22/06/2015 are quashed and set aside. The petitioners are ordered to be acquitted of the charges levelled against them and are ordered to be released from jail forthwith, if not required in any other offence.
Direct Service (today) is permitted."
