Section 61(2) in The Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya Act, 2000
(2)All buildings, lands, research farms and other properties belonging to the former University and located within the northern districts of Darjeeling, Jalpaiguri, Cooch Behar, Uttar Dinajpur, Dakshin Dinajpur and Malda shall, from the appointed day, stand transferred to the University.
