Section 2(ii) in Bihar District Sub-Registrar and Sub-Registrar Recruitment Rules, 1973
(ii)by promotion from amongst the Assistants of the office of the Inspector-General of Registration, Bihar and offices subordinate to it in accordance with the rules in part III; provided that for the post of Sub-Registrar not more than 25 per cent of the vacancies may be kept reserved for making appointment of candidates who hold post on substantive basis under the Inspector-General of Registration.
