04   20.01.2021             In view of extraordinary situation arose out of COVID-19
                  lockdown, the matter is taken up through video conferencing.
                            Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned
                  counsel for the State.
                            The petitioner being in custody in connection with C.T.
                  Case No.2708 of 2019 arising out of Khandagiri P.S. Case No.330
                  of 2019 pending in the court of the learned Additional Sessions
                  Judge, Bhubaneswar for the alleged commission of offences
                  punishable    under Sections       394/467/471/411/34    I.P.C has
                  prayed for his release on bail.
                            Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that that the
                  petitioner is in judicial custody since 27.06.2019 and in the
                  meantime after completion of investigation, charge sheet has been
                  submitted and the offences are triable by Magistrate and two of
                  the co-accused have already been released on bail in BLAPL
                  No.7844 of 2019 and BLAPL No.3412 of 2020.
                             Learned counsel for the State submitted that the
                  petitioner has got number of criminal antecedents.
                             On going through the comprehensive affidavit filed by
                  the learned counsel for the petitioner, I am inclined to release the
                  petitioner on bail.
                            Let the petitioner be released on bail in the aforesaid
                  case on furnishing a bail bond of Rs.50,000/- ( rupees fifty
                  thousand) with two local solvent sureties each for the like amount
                  to the satisfaction of the learned Court in seisin over the matter
                  with further conditions as the learned court may deem just and
                  proper.
                            The         BLAPL   is     accordingly     disposed    of.
                            As Lock-down period is continuing for COVID-19,
                  learned counsel for the petitioner may utilize the soft copy of this
                  order available in the High Court's website or print out thereof at
                          2




      par with certified copies in the manner         prescribed,   vide
      Court's   Notice   No.4587   dated 25.3.2020.
