Section 29(1) in The Chhattisgarh Gram Nyayalaya Rules, 2001
(1)When it appears that any property has been used for the commission of any offence or is a subject-matter of any offence, is produced before a Gram Nyayalaya during trial, the Gram Nyayalaya may make such order as it thinks fit for the proper custody of such property pending the conclusion of the trial and if the property is subject to speedy or natural decay or it is otherwise expedient to do so, it may after recording such evidence as it thinks necessary, order it to be sold or otherwise disposed off.
