50. Temporary arrangements.
(1)At any time after the commencement of this Act and until such time as the authorities of the University are duly constituted, any officer of the University may be appointed by the Vice-Chancellor, with the prior approval of the Chancellor, to carry on the duties of any such authority.(2)The Vice-Chancellor may make temporary appointments subject to the approval of the Board at its next meeting, following the making of such appointment.
