Section 31(1) in The Sidho-Kanho-Birsha University Act, 2010
(1)Notwithstanding anything contained in section 29, until the constitution of a Section Committee referred to therein, a University Lecturer, Reader or Professor shall be appointed by the Sidho-Kanho-Birsha University Council, referred to in sub-section (1) of section 59 on the recommendation of a Selection Committee, constituted by the said Council in such manner as it thinks fit, which shall include as its member at least one person, not holding any office of profit under the University and having special knowledge of the subject which the Professor or the Reader or the Lecturer, as the case may be, will teach, nominated by the Chancellor.
