Section 5(1) in Telangana Cotton Seeds (Regulation of Supply, Distribution, Sale and Fixation of Sale Price) Act, 2007
(1)The Controller appointed under this Act shall perform the following functions,-(a)mandatory registration of cotton seed firms which are engaged in trade of cotton seed duly indicating the production aspects and areas of operation etc.,(b)payment of compensation to the farmers.
