Section 44(3)(a) in Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Leave) Rules, 1979

(a)Quarantine leave may be granted by the Head of the Office on the certificate of a Medical Officer for a period not exceeding 21 days or in exceptional circumstances 30 days.
