Section 21(3) in The Gujarat Tenancy and Agricultural Lands (Vidarbha Region and Kutch) Area Act, 1958
(3)In respect of a surrender made by a tenant any time during the period commencing from the first day of August, 1957, and ending on the date of the commencement of this Act, the landlord who has obtained possession of the land as a result of such surrender shall within three months from the date of the commencement of this Act, intimate the fact of such surrender in the prescribed manner and in the prescribed form to the [Mamlatdar] [This word was substituted for the word 'Tahsildar' by Schedule III, Clause 1.].
